Gov. Snyder To Hold 2nd Facebook Town Hall Meeting
LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Governor Rick Snyder may be one of your Facebook friends, but even if he's not, on Thursday you'll have a chance to chat with him online.
In his second virtual town hall meeting, the governor will take residents' questions just after he presents his 2012-13 budget proposal to lawmakers.
Viewers can watch the hour-long town hall meeting beginning at 6:30 p.m. on the Rick Snyder for Michigan Facebook page.
Questions can be submitted in advance at michigan.gov/townhall, posted on Snyder's Facebook wall or sent on Twitter to @OneToughNerd using the hashtag #AskGovSnyder. Questions also can be submitted through Facebook and Twitter once the meeting has started.
Snyder plans to unveil his budget for the fiscal year that starts Oct. 1 at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Capitol.
