Go Green With The Lexus Eco Challenge
The automaker Lexus and the publishing company Scholastic have teamed up to create a contest that will help kids learn more about the environment, and provide over $500,000 in scholarships to winners.
The Lexus Eco Challenge program is designed to inspire and empower middle and high school students to learn about the environment and take action to improve it. Middle and high school students form teams comprised of five to ten students and one teacher advisor to design and implement an action plan to help the environment.
The deadline for the first contest, Land and Water is November 3, 2010, and the second challenge, Air and Climate is due January 19, 2011.
