GM's Mary Barra And Four Other Detroit Trailblazers Hailed In CBS 62's 'Eye On The Future: The Power Of Women' Special
GM Chairman & CEO Mary Barra heads up an all-star lineup of inspirational women impacting Metro Detroit in CBS 62's "Eye On The Future: The Power of Women" TV special airing Sunday Feb. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
The fast-moving special, the latest in the "Eye On The Future" series looking at issues impacting our region's collective future, also highlights other impressive women including: Gretchen Valade, Chairman Emeritus of Carhartt, Andra Rush, CEO of Rush Group LLC, Najah Bazzy, founder of Zaman International, and Suzanne Shank, Chairman and CEO of Siebert Brandford & Shank LLC.
The five women share their story of building their career and how they view their role in giving back to the community.
They also shed light on Metro Detroit and how things can and will be better through their efforts, not only today but tomorrow.
Tom Canedo, president and general manager of CBS 62/CW50, talked about the impact of the women profiled and his station's mission to keep a focus on the region's future with its "Eye on the Future" specials.
"Detroit is a community blessed with many strong, incredible women making an impact," said Canedo, "and we're pleased to help share their stories in this program."
Carol Cain, the award-winning Senior Producer and Host of CBS 62's "Michigan Matters," also produced and hosts "The Power of Women."
