GMC Monday Night Football Tour Rolls Into Motor City
CLINTON TWP. (WWJ) - GMC, in partnership with the NFL, will bring its second annual Monday Night Football Tour to The Mall at Partridge Creek, in Clinton Township this weekend, with a player-attended United Way event on Tuesday in Detroit.
The event gives NFL fans the opportunity to meet ESPN Monday Night Football announcer Mike Tirico, as well as current and former Detroit players.
Fans that stop by can test their football skills against the pros, and get a chance to win Monday Night Football game tickets, NFL.comgift cards and signed memorabilia.
Here's who will be making an appearance:
Saturday, Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- 3-4 p.m.: Jahvid Best, running back
- 4-5 p.m.: Brandon Pettigrew, tight end
- 5-6 p.m.: Stephen Tulloch, linebacker
Sunday, Oct. 9, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- 1-2 p.m.: Nate Burleson, wide receiver
- 3-4 p.m.: Louis Delmas, safety
- 5-6 p.m.: Herman Moore, former wide receiver
After testing your skills and meeting the pros, you can check out The Lombardi Trophy, which will be on display at the event.
On the Tuesday following the game, GMC and United Way for Southeastern Michigan will work with local volunteers, including Pettigrew, to install playground equipment at Elmwood Central Park in Detroit.
