GM, BMW To Deliver Keynote Addresses At Telematics Detroit 2013

NOVI -- With just a couple of weeks before the June 5-6 Telematics Detroit 2013 Conference & Exhibition, Telematics Update today confirmed that General Motors and BMW will deliver exclusive keynote presentations to the 1,800 strong audience at the world's biggest event to shape the future of the connected car. 

On the opening day of the conference June 5, Nick Pudar, director of global connected consumer at General Motors, will explore how GM SDK's will expand access to the infotainment environment and engage with the developer community through enabling greater opportunities for app monetization.

On the second day of Telematics Detroit, June 6, Heini Schulz, ConnectedDrive Services Manager and Douglas Claus, Head of Department Product Requirements, Development & ConnectedDrive at BMW of North America will explore the New Era for BMW ConnectedDrive. They will deliver exclusive product insights, including details on market roll outs, customer interaction and product flexibility.    

Said Telematics Detroit Project Director Andrew Pym: "The expectations of drivers have never been higher as they seek to bring their constantly connected lives into the vehicle and both of these automakers are pushing the very boundaries of what is possible with the connected car. This importance of telematics to the automotive manufacturers is reflected in the OEM presence at the Telematics Detroit, with more than 200 senior executives from Chrysler, Honda, Ford, Nissan, Mercedes-Benz, Hyundai, GM, BMW, Audi, KIA, Toyota, already confirmed to attend.
