Gibbs Quadski Production To Start

AUBURN HILLS -- Gibbs Powersports will begin production of the Gibbs Quadski, the world's first high-speed sports amphibian, will officially begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The plant is at 50 Corporate Drive in Auburn Hills.

Company and local government officials taking part in the program will include Auburn Hills Mayor Pro Tem, Maureen Hammond; Neil Jenkins, Gibbs Sports Amphibians chairman, and Tina Shaheen, the company's COO.
 
The Quadski is designed to go 45 mph on both land and water, an amphibious all-terrain vehicle and personal watercraft.
