This is the season for autumn temperatures, back-to-school routines, pumpkin spices, and plenty of new fashion to adore. September is a month in which fashion lovers anticipate the newest looks for the current and upcoming seasons across the world.

In Michigan, September has become a month to showcase new fashion and a time to celebrate the growth of the blossoming local garment industry. Michigan Fashion Week (MFW) is one of Michigan's most prominent local organizations and events that supports the Michigan fashion industry every year.

In its third year, MFW is set to return with 4 days of events. MFW kicks off September 24 and will continue until September 27. The annual event will again promote and provide a venue for local designers, models, aspiring artists, and businesses.

MFW 2014 will include the following events: MFW Media Reception at Marvel Boutique in Royal Oak Wednesday, September 24th from 7pm to 9pm, a fashion panel which will be held at Baronette Renaissance Hotel from 7pm to 9pm in Novi, a Fashion Network event at Mex Restaurant in Bloomfield Hills, 6pm to 9pm, and the Michigan Fashion Week Showcase 2014 at the Ultimate Soccer Arenas from 6pm to 10pm.

Tickets to the Fashion Network event are $20. General admission tickets are $25 and VIP tickets are $50 to the Michigan Fashion Week Showcase 2014. To purchase tickets and for more information on Michigan Fashion Week 2014, visit michiganfashionweek.com.
