Gas Station Owner Robbed At Gunpoint In Detroit
DETROIT (WWJ) - A gas station owner has been robbed of thousands of dollars of cash at gun point on Detroit's east side.
The robbery happened at the Citgo Gas Station on Gratiot early Tuesday morning.
The owner was counting up weekend receipts and putting everything in a bank bag. He was walking to his car and that's when he was approached by a man who demanded all of the cash.
At least one shot went off, the owner was not hurt.
Police are still investigating - anyone with information is asked to call Detroit Police.
