Gas Prices Up 4 Cents From A Year Ago
DEARBORN (WWJ/AP) - After spiking to more than $4 a gallon last month, gas prices are now dropping. AAA Michigan says prices dropped 13-cents over the past week to a statewide average of $3.90 a gallon. Analysts say the price is just 4 cents higher than last year at this time.
In some areas around Metro Detroit, prices are $3.79 per gallon.
According to AAA, the lowest gas prices in Michigan are in Flint. The highest are in Marquette where the average price is $4.01.
