Funeral Set For School Chief, Wife Killed In Crash
Alma College is hosting the funeral of the Alma schools superintendent and his wife who were among four people killed in the crash of a small plane in Lake Michigan. The bodies of Don and Irene Pavlik were recovered from the lake July 30. They were headed to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., on July 23 where Don Pavlik was to receive canter treatment.
The plane developed mechanical problems and crashed, killing all but the pilot.
The Saginaw News says the Pavliks' funeral is Thursday morning at the college's Heritage Center.
Co-pilot and retired construction company owner Early Davidson and Dr. James Hall also died.
Services for Hall are Sunday at Michigan Masonic Pathway's Doig Chapel.
