Freezing Rain Overnight
DETROIT (WWJ) - Watch for some icy driving conditions late Thursday night and into Friday, with rain, freezing rain and a wintry mix possible in the early morning hours.
AccuWeather's Dave Bowers says Southeast Michigan can expect a cloudy, rainy Thursday night -- and with the temperature dropping below freezing, it could make for some treacherous conditions as commuters hit the road Friday morning.
Forecasters say freezing rain will turn to just plain rain later Friday, as temperatures creep up into the mid 40s. The rain will stick around for the night.
