Fox Sports Predicts UM To Finish 11-1, With MSU Finishing 8-4

The college football season is right around the corner. Michigan State opens their season Sept. 2 against Furman and the Michigan Wolverines open their 2016 campaign the day after against Hawaii.
Michigan has all the hype going into Jim Harbaugh's second season and rightfully so. In the first AP poll this season the Wolverines are ranked 7 and Michigan State is 12.
Another day and another publication is picking the fighting Harbaughs to have an amazing season.
Bruce Feldman of Foxsports.com put out his predictions for every Big Ten team this season and it bodes well for the Wolverines.
It's Year 2 of Jim Harbaugh in Ann Arbor, and Michigan fans are finally going to get what they've been waiting for: a win over Ohio State and a Big Ten championship. Here are Bruce Feldman's predicted standings for the Big Ten in 2016.
Feldman has picked the Michigan Wolverines to finish 11-1 (8-1 in the Big Ten) on the season. No word on who the one loss is to.
There are some QB concerns between Wilton Speight and John O'Korn, but the structure around those guys is very strong. Strong enough where I think this group can navigate a brutal Big Ten road schedule that includes games at Iowa, at MSU and at OSU, where they haven't won since 2000. But I think Jim Harbaugh will get it done this fall
He doesn't think the Spartans will do as well in 2016. He has picked Michigan State to finish 8-4 (6-3 in the Big Ten.)
The defense should be nasty again, led by Malik McDowell and some terrific linebackers, but I think they may take a little step back because they lost three starters on the O-line and two of them -- the two Jacks, Conklin and Allen -- were superb.
Michigan and Iowa are picked to appear in the Big Ten title game. If Michigan really does win the Big Ten title game then they should be a shoo-in to appear in the College Football Playoff.
