Fowlerville Man Arrested, Suspected Of Indecent Exposure In Wayne, Oakland And Livingston Counties

BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A 38-year-old Fowlerville man has been arrested after he allegedly exposed himself to women across three counties.

Bloomfield Township Police are crediting the public with aiding in the capture of Ryan Daniel Daves, who is charged with aggravated indecent exposure by a sexually delinquent person.

According to police, Daves' arrest came after his latest alleged victim was able to snap photos as he "tried to get her attention by making sexual gestures" in his SUV on Telegraph Road, near Maple, on April 18.

A few days later, the photos and a description of the suspect were released to the media, and tips came pouring in from additional victims in Wayne, Oakland, and Livingston Counties, police said.

Investigators were able to follow up on the tips which led to Daves' arrest.

He was arraigned on Saturday, April 26, at which time bond was set at $10,000 cash. If he posts bond he'll be required to wear a GPS tether.

In a statement, Bloomfield Township police thanked the community for providing the information that made it possible for detectives to quickly identify and arrest the suspect in this case.

Police are also reminding the public to call 911 when incidents like this occur.

Daves is scheduled to appear in 48th District Court for a hearing on Monday, May 4, at 9 a.m.
