Former Piston Facing Tax Problems
DETROIT (WWJ) - As the Detroit Pistons prepare to retire Dennis Rodman's number 10 jersey, the former Bad Boy is trying to retire a tax problem.
The Detroit News reports that public records show that Rodman owes the state of California more than $42,000 in back taxes. However, Rodman's business manager tells the the paper they don't think the tax claim is accurate, but will investigate it.
Dennis Rodman, or as his teammates called him "The Worm", was one of the NBA's best rebounders and defenders when he played for the Pistons during the championship "Bad Boys" era.
Rodman should learn this week whether he's a finalist for the Basketball Hall of Fame.
