When Jim Harbaugh became the head coach at Michigan, you had to figure things would be different than they were when Brady Hoke and Rich Rodriguez were at the helm.

Harbaugh is running the ship differently than the coaches before him and it seems to be for the better.

One topic up for debate this Wednesday is the report that a scholarship offer was pulled from a recruit who committed in 2013 under Brady Hoke.

Offensive tackle Erik Swenson tweeted out the following.

According to 247sports.com, Swenson is a four-star prospect from Downers Grove, IL. He had interest from Northwestern, Notre Dame, Illinois and Arkansas.

"As you all know, I have been committed to Michigan since November 2013, and it was my full intention to play in front of you all in the Big House. God has another plan. Due to unforseen circumstances, I am reopening my recruitment."

According to MLive.com the University of Michigan  "pulled its scholarship offer" and "did not provide a reason for doing so."

Should a school be able to pull an offer from a student athlete?
