Forecast: Mid-Week Warm Up
DETROIT (WWJ) - The snow has been melting, but how long will the relief last?
AccuWeather Meteorologist Dean Devore says it'll be seasonably cold Tuesday, with temperatures hitting 36 degrees. The rest of the week, however, looks better. On Wednesday, Metro Detroit could see some rain, with temperatures reaching 43 degrees, heading up north of 50 degrees on Thursday.
Thursday is forecasted to be the warmest day this week for Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago, Des Moines, Iowa, and Omaha, Nebraska -- with a few of these locations possibly even approaching 60 degrees. The warmer temps are expected to hold out through Friday, before sliding down a bit over the weekend. Don't stash away the shovel just yet -- because we could see some more snow soon.
