Snow Showers Expected On Christmas Day
If you're dreaming of a white Christmas, you should get your wish.
AccuWeather Meteorologist Dean Devore says there's the a possibility of snow showers on Christmas Day, (Saturday) and even a better chance on Sunday; nothing too dramatic, but there could be some slick spots on the roadways both Christmas Day and Sunday along with those snowfall.
It's looking like a winter storm will hit the East Coast beginning Sunday morning, but miss Southeast Michigan. There could be travel issues for those trying to fly back to Detroit from the south and east.
The high both Saturday and Sunday will be in the upper 20's to near 30.
No snow predicted Christmas Eve in Southeast Michigan, with periods of clouds and sunshine in the morning, getting cloudier later in the day, with a High of 29. Friday night will be considerably cloudy with a Low of 23.
