For Lions, Final Week Info Can Influence Draft Picks
As the Lions make their final preparations for this week's NFL draft, general manager Martin Mayhew explained recently why he was entering his cone of silence and divulging even less information than he usually does.
Mayhew told reporters Thursday the Lions had not settled on whom they would draft with the No. 2 overall pick. But it wasn't just because of indecision, he said.
