CBS DETROIT - Fans who traveled to Brazil for the World Cup game between the United States and Germany could be in for a major disappointment Thursday afternoon.
Massive flooding in Recife, where the game will be held, will reportedly not cause the game to be postponed, but many fans may simply miss out on the game, unable to make it to the stadium because the rain has rendered the roads so dangerous.
ESPN's Jeremy Schaap tweeted that friends and family of U.S. team members have decided not to attend the game because the trip there will be too treacherous.
The game is scheduled to start at 12 p.m. ET.
