Flood Warning Cancelled
DETROIT (WWJ) - A lakeshore flood warning for those living along Lake Erie has now been cancelled.
The National Weather Service says the water level fell 40 inches overnight and lake levels are near normal now.
The flood warning and high water level, which were about three feet above normal yesterday afternoon, prompted officials to put up a small sandbag wall near Estral Beach, near Monroe.
