Finnegan Might Be A Target For Lions
--Coach Jim Schwartz chose his words carefully when asked about the team's interest in possible free-agent cornerback Cortland Finnegan, who he coached when he was at Tennessee. "We keep an open mind," he said. "We don't go all-in on one person and we don't discount any one person. Anybody who fits our scheme and makes sense for us, we've done a good job of evaluating those guys. If Cortland ends up being one of those, we will be in that position." Finnegan may be looking for a contract averaging $10 million per season; that would be a deal-breaker for the Lions.
