Fight Between Friends Leaves 1 In Intensive Care, 1 Charged With Intent To Murder
MACOMB COUNTY (WWJ) - A 17-year-old St. Clair Shores man could spend life in prison if convicted on charges that he stabbed his friend, sending him to the intensive care unit.
Police say it all happened at home on 13 Mile near Harper when the two men started arguing. Shane Spatafore allegedly stabbed his 17-year-old friend before running off and destroying property in a backyard.
Detective Margaret Eidt says Spatafore also resisted arrested and was tased. Eidt says he was arraigned on several charges including assault with intent to commit murder, two counts of obstructing and resisting police and a count of malicious destruction of property.
Spatafore will be tried as an adult.
