Faurecia Auto Supplier Evacuated Due To Bomb Threat
AUBURN HILLS (WWJ) - Workers at automotive supplier Faurecia's Auburn Hills headquarters are back on the job after they were evacuated due to a bomb scare.
A spokesman for the company said a threat was called into the building and they ordered the evacuation "as a precaution."
Emergency crews were on the scene at 3 p.m., and police were searching the building. Meantime, employees were moved to another building.
Nothing was found and workers were back in the building before 5 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
It's unclear who made the threat. An investigation is underway.
