Fatal Stabbing Near Wayne State
Two people have been stabbed, one fatally, at an apartment building near the Wayne State University campus in Detroit.
WWJ's Beth Fisher reports that the incident took place Wednesday morning at Cathedral Tower Apartments -- a highrise complex on Hancock near Woodward Ave.
Police say the two men were stabbed in the lobby of the building. They were taken to the hospital where one was pronounced dead and the other was being treated later Wednesday.
Neither of the victims were Wayne State students, but some students do live in the building.
Detroit Police homicide is investigating. Resident's of the building declined to comment to WWJ about the incident.
