Farmington Hills Woman Turns To Social Media To Find A Kidney
About a hundred thousand people in this country are waiting for a kidney transplant.
Audrey Weinberg of Farmington Hills is using Facebook for her search for a vital organ.
Weinberg spends more than three hours a day hooked up to a dialysis machine to stay alive while she waits for a kidney transplant. The 64-year-old has been on the transplant list for 4 years.
Now she's turning to Facebook. Her page is titled Find a Kidney for Audrey.

"I want to share my story because I know there are people out there who out of the goodness of their hearts want to pay it forward to someone else." said Weinberg.
