Fans Continue To Rally For The Tigers
DETROIT (WWJ) - Fans were dejected after Wednesday night's loss at Comerica Park, but they're not giving up on their Tigers just yet.
There was a rain delay and extra innings, but the Tigers just couldn't get it done, losing to the Texas Rangers 7-3.
Disappointed fans streamed out of the ballpark after a four-hour game. But Tigers fan Will Hyde of Grosse Pointe told WWJ that he's not giving up hope. "It's pretty sad. We had it there, but gave it up in the last few innings. It's pretty disappointing to see for sure," he says. And Hyde adds, "I definitely think they can come back and win it. The Tigers have a pretty deep roster so I think they definitely can come back and get this one."
Susan Harrison of Davison agreed and when asked about Texas celebrating a win on our field, she said, "No, it's not going to happen. There's no way. No way, absolutely not! We are going to win and we are going to take it back to Texas."
The series continues Thursday afternoon, around 4 p.m., at Comerica Park.
