Family Begs For Answers 1 Year After Teen's Murder Goes Unsolved

DETROIT (WWJ) - One year after a 19-year-old Henry Ford Community College student was murdered, his family continues to look for answers in their search for his killer.

Dacodi Robinson was found dead with another victim at a home on Plainview, near Evergreen Road. Police say Robinson and the other victim, 20-year-old Reginald Sions, were shot to death around 5 p.m. on Oct. 11, 2011.

At the time, witnesses told police they saw a grey four door Pontiac Grand Am leaving the home, which investigators say had a history of narcotics complaints.

Robinson, who was completing his second year studying computer engineering, was preparing for a job interview at Macy's at the time of his death, according to family members.

Now, his family is only left with unanswered questions as Thursday marks one year since Robinson's death. No one has come forward or provided any tips that could lead investigators to a potential suspect.

In a desperate plea to finally bring some closure to their suffering, Robinson's family is again asking anyone who might know something about his death to call Crime Stoppers anonymously.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-SPEAK-UP. You can also submit a tip online at www.1800speakup.org, or text "CSM" and your tip to CRIMES (274637).
