Falcon Missing From Lansing Zoo
Potter Park Zoo staff and others are on the lookout for a fugitive falcon.
The missing bird escaped its enclosure at the Lansing zoo on Friday.
The peregrine falcon doesn't pose a threat, but residents are being asked not to approach the bird for fear of scaring it away.
The Lansing State Journal reports the falcon was spotted Saturday near the zoo's duck pond, about 100 feet from its enclosure.
