Facebook Works For Friends Of MS Society
SHELBY TWP. (WWJ) - Hundreds of folks responded to a posting on Facebook which noted an upcoming event to support the local chapter of Multiple Sclerosis society.
A special fundraiser later this week to benefit the Michigan Chapter of the MS Society in Shelby Township.
Organizer Melissa Lundy says it's easy: "I have a Facebook event page, and all I have to do is type in MS Fundraiser and it will come up," says Lundy.
Melissa says she has personally dealt with MS. "I do this in loving memory of my mom who I lost in 2005 and for families that are affected by MS," says Lundy.
