Ex-Con Who Threatened Kids Caught With Handgun
CLINTON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - An ex-con is back behind bars after allegedly threatening kids in a Macomb County apartment complex.
David Garcia was arrested at his home in the Valley Drive Apartments over the weekend after deputies checking on a threats complaint found a semi-automatic handgun on his table.
Detectives say he was drunk. Because he had been convicted of a felony, Garcia wasn't supposed to have a gun.
Police said the 9 mm handgun was unregistered.
Garcia was arraigned Monday at 41B District Court in Clinton Township and is being held on a $5,000 cash bond.
None of the kids were hurt.
