Henry Ford Community College hosts "Imagine the Possibilities: Non-Traditional Careers for Women" on Nov. 7: Henry Ford Community College (HFCC) will host "Imagine the Possibilities: Non-Traditional Careers for Women" Monday, Nov. 7, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Fifty-One O One Restaurant, which is located in the Student and Culinary Arts Center on the main campus. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Several members of the HFCC faculty will speak about their respective academic areas and available career opportunities in their fields. The first individual to speak will be Kimberly Moscardelli of Computer Information Systems. She will be followed by Greg Osowski of Criminal Justice; Cathi Duling of Hospitality & Culinary Arts; Chad Austin of Job Placement Services; and Brenda Hildreth of Student Outreach & Support. Lunch will be available following speaking sessions, as well as a raffle. Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Walk-ins are welcome. Verizon Wireless Offers iPhone 4S Workshops: Verizon Wireless is offering a free wireless workshop on the iPhone 4 at the company's Dearborn store, 24417 Ford Road, on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 5 to 6 p.m., and at the company's Rochester Hills store, 3035 S. Rochester Road, on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.  Reservations are required by registering online at www.verizonwireless.com/workshops. Seating is limited. The workshop is geared toward helping customers get the most out of their device and will cover basic hardware functionality and features of the Apple iPhone 4 such as: iPod, photos, multitasking and The App Store.
