Spark Sponsors Event On Exit Strategies: Ann Arbor Spark's BioArbor will sponsor an event Nov. 6 called "Getting to an Exit: Success Stories From the Life Sciences." Come hear examples of companies in the life sciences that were able to achieve their exits though acquisition by a larger company. Investors say that once Michigan's life sciences industry can regularly generate success stories, more venture capital will follow. We've had several recently, including ones highlighted by our speakers. Hear about the strategies and approaches that can be used to help companies achieve successful exits. The event begins with networking at 5 p.m. and the program at 6 p.m. It will be held at Ann Arbor Spark Central, 330 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor. Panelists include Manya Deehr, co-founder and principal, Life Sciences Law Group; Dan Rhodes, head of medical science informatics, Life Technologies; and Bill Brinkerhoff, mentor in residence at the University of Michigan Office of Technology Transfer.
