This hands-on training course explores installation, configuration and management of VMware vSphere, which consists of ESXi and vCenter Server. Completion of this course serves as a prerequisite for the VMware Certified Professional 5 exam. While it focuses on vSphere 5.0, the course is fully relevant for users of vSphere 4.1. System administrators and engineers should attend, along with operators responsible for VMware ESXi and VMware vCenter Server and ESXi and vCenter Server components, along with those who deploy, manage, and migrate virtual machines. The class will meet Monday through Friday, February 4-8, 2013, daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Merit's offices, 1000 Oakbrook Drive, Ann Arbor. Early registration for attendees from Merit Member organizations is $2,995 through Dec. 28. The member price increases to $3,195 after that date. Non-members may attend for $3,495, which is the typical retail price for this course.
