Event Showcases Green Businesses: Mercedes-Benz Financial Services is hosting 18 green businesses, from entrepreneurs to corporations, in its first annual Green Fair Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event aims to introduce MBFS' Farmington Hills-based employees to the wide range of Green enterprises and services in Southeast Michigan. See the latest in green products for the home, for fashion and for health and beauty. Attendees range from A-1 Organic Lawns, which specializes in organic lawn products and solar energy, to VEG-Michigan, a nonprofit promoting the benefits of a plant-based diet. Also attending will be representatives from the DTE Energy Efficient Program and Consumers Energy to demonstrate energy-efficient products for homeowners. Plus, on display will be Green vehicle technology with the Mercedes-Benz ML Hybrid and an electric smart vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Financial Services Headquarters is at 36455 Corporate Drive in Farmington Hills.
