GDI sets Webinar on information discovery: GDI is hosting a Webinar titled "Solutions for Information Discovery and Collaboration" to be hosted by Scott Maynard, vice president at InfoReady Corp. Most knowledge workers would state too much time is spent looking for relevant information and ineffectively working with others within the workplace. Enterprise-level tools are leveraged too often with the intent of surfacing information in meaningful ways and supporting collaboration. Ironically, these tools are counterproductive as they become barriers to information and don't support how people want to share information with each other. GDI will present a proven approach (shown with examples) to remove these barriers and redefine information discovery to create 'spotaneous collaborative workspaces.' This approach is gaining in popularity and might be the right approach to take your company to the next level. the Webinar will be held Wednesday, April 10 from noon to 1 p.m. and is free.
