Social media benefits someone like me: I need it for my job, it lets me find out information before other media report it, I get to follow all my favorite celebrities, and see what Kate Upton and Kelly Stafford are up to on any given day.
But I guess, for a professional athlete, social media isn't much fun.
It is cool to be able to feel like you are connected with your favorite professorial athlete through Twitter, but then there is always someone who will want to ruin something nice for the rest of us.
They talk smack, criticize, troll, mock and humiliate.
The Detroit Lions drafted Tight End Eric Ebron in the first round (tenth overall) of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Ebron didn't appease the fans this past season as he only caught 25 passes for 248 yards and one touchdown.
Ebron sounded off on Twitter Sunday evening about the fans.
