EPrize Acquires CRM Division of Apollo Data Technologies
Pleasant Ridge-based ePrize LLC Wednesday announced the acquisition of the customer relationship management division of Apollo Data Technologies, a Chicago-based predictive analytics firm.
The new ePrize analytics division will be based in Seattle and led by Kaiser Yang, senior vice president and managing director for ePrize.
Ten Apollo employees will remain with ePrize.
No details of the transaction were released.
The acquisition continues to broaden ePrize's product offerings, which over the past year have expanded into social and community management as well as mobile and location-based services. By providing in-depth analyses of campaign executions, as well as deeper consumer behavior insights, ePrize can advise brands on new methods to interact with consumers based on data-driven decisions.
"Consumer insights and data analytics are now essential aspects of running multi-channel campaigns. Marketers need deep understanding of how consumers are interacting with campaigns that are simultaneously appearing in mobile apps on smartphones and tablets as well as in Facebook apps and on traditional websites," said Matt Wise, ePrize CEO. "Apollo's team brings decades of experience and outstanding predictive analytic application development to our clients."
"It's a win-win," said Jeff Kaplan, Apollo Data Technologies CEO. "We are thrilled to see our CRM division go to a company like ePrize where it can be applied against their distinguished client base. For Apollo, we're excited to solely focus on our fast-growing health care segment and bring innovative predictive analytics solutions to hospitals, so they can run as profitable businesses and increase quality patient care."
