Epic Translations' Project Management System Gets New Features
Epic Translations, a Farmington Hills language services provider, said this week that it has implemented three new features to its proprietary cloud-based project management system, Epic Provisioning System, for the translation and localization industry.
Epic Translations president Mostansar Virk noted that the need for dependable and quality-driven access to translation services continues to grow as small and midsized businesses increase their export efforts.
Epic said those companies that use a language services provider experience improved time to market, because language service providers can employ a multiple linguistic-based quality assurance flow that ensures accuracy in the translation and takes the target country's cultural expectations and sensitivities into consideration.
The three new features in EPS are:
* Clients can now send an automated project request through EPS. Previously, clients had to send new project requests via e-mail and Epic Translations then had to manually gather the project details such as start date, due date, and special instructions. Now clients are able to send new requests directly from EPS.
* Translation Memory is now downloadable in EPS. Clients no longer have to request their company's specific TM via e-mail. It is now updated and available for download in EPS. An added benefit is that clients are able to download and utilize this translation memory however they see fit.
* Clients can now receive completed files via EPS. Epic Translations can now upload the completed and production ready files directly in EPS and the client will receive an email with the files.
The three features mentioned above will allow Epic Translations' clients to become more efficient and automated in their acquisition of translation services.
