Engineering Society Of Detroit Holds Job Fair
SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - As more engineering and technical companies continue to struggle to fill job vacancies, The Engineering Society of Detroit (ESD) will open its headquarters in Southfield for a job fair on Thursday to assist in recruiting talent.
The free job fair is for Farmington Hills-based Daifuku Webb and its subsidiary Jervis B. Webb Company.
"We're looking for engineers with degrees or equivalent experience, but we're looking for electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, controls engineers. We would also be looking at fresh-out college grads," said Erin Spitzer, Daifuku Webb Human Resources Director.
The company is also looking for project engineers; project managers; vehicle electrical, software and systems engineers; as well as professionals with a background in material handling.
Spitzer said job seekers should come prepared to interview and bring resumes.
