Elderly Woman Found Dead In Hotel Hot Tub
DETROIT (WWJ) - The Wayne County Medical Examiner will be working to determine what happened to an elderly woman who was found dead in a hot tub in a Detroit hotel over the weekend.
A Detroit police spokesperson said the 77-year-old woman was found unresponsive in a hot tub at the Hilton Garden Inn on Gratiot Avenue around 12:30 p.m. Sunday. She was later pronounced dead.
There are reports the woman had won a large sum of money at Greektown Casino shortly before her death, but police aren't confirming that.
The woman's name has not yet been released. Her death remains under investigation.
