Elderly Hamtramck Man Killed In Own Home
HAMTRAMCK (WWJ/AP) - Authorities say a 73-year-old Detroit-area retiree has been found slain at his home.
Police in Hamtramck said Norman Gurski's body was found Sunday inside his residence in the 3000 block of Edwin following an apparent home invasion.
Police said Monday morning they had two people of interest in custody and they were seeking a third person. They also were trying to find Gurski's vehicle.
Gurski's niece told reporters her uncle was a kind-hearted man. She said he was a lifelong Hamtramck resident who formerly worked for General Motors and an auto parts supplier.
