Elderly Detroit Man Who Disappeared After Doctor's Appointment Home Safe
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police say elderly man who disappeared on his way home from a doctor's appointment has been found.
Eddie King Jr. went missing on Aug. 31 around 2:15 p.m.-- having last been seen at Henry Ford Hospital, on W. Grand Boulevard off the Lodge Freeway. Police said the 76-year-old, who suffers from dementia, went to a doctor's appointment and never returned home.
Police over the holiday weekend announced that King had returned safely home on Friday, Sept. 1 at 5:45 p.m.
Police did not say where he'd been but said he's OK.
