Elderly Bicyclist Dies Following Accident In Canton

CANTON (WWJ) - A 78-year-old man has succumbed to injuries following a bicycle accident Sunday morning according to reports.

Police have not released the identity of the man but continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident which happened on Canton Center Road south of Cherry Hill just before 8 a.m.

Lieutenant Chad Baugh says the person on the bike was transported to a local hospital after the incident in Canton.
