Early Black Friday
Some retailers are looking to get a jump on the holiday season by starting Black Friday ads this weekend.
The jumpstart would essentially double the traditional holiday shopping season — the 29 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas — by starting a month earlier.
Sears is offering "Black Friday Now" specials on 158 items from diamond rings to power tools. At Kmart, toy sales start this weekend on more than 300 items. Toys "R" Us also offered their Big Toy Book, featuring 691 items.
And Borders and Amazon are featuring special sales this weekend on their web sites.
