DTE Picks California Firm For $157M Air Quality Project In Monroe

SAN FRANCISCO -- URS Corp. (NYSE: URS) Friday announced that it has been awarded a contract by Detroit-based DTE Energy to provide engineering, procurement and construction services for the installation of a selective catalytic reduction system at its Monroe Power Plant.

The three-year contract has a maximum value of $157 million to URS.

URS president of energy and construction Robert Zaist said the deal "continue(s) our decades-long relationship with DTE Energy as it implements this significant air quality retrofit project at the Monroe Power Plant. The Monroe Power Plant is DTE Energy's largest generating plant and the fourth largest coal-fired plant in the country."

URS provides engineering, construction and technical services for public agencies and private sector companies around the world.
