DTE Energy Goes Live with Trellis
DETROIT -- Blackstone Technology Group, a global IT services firm, and the Detroit utility DTE Energy announced a "go live" of Trellis, technology that will allow DTE Pipeline and Bluestone Gathering, wholly owned subsidiaries of DTE Energy, to efficiently manage all natural gas transactions and grow their transportation and gathering businesses.
Blackstone's Trellis is a web-based, single-platform natural gas pipeline and transaction management solution that helps energy service providers stay ahead of the curve in natural gas transportation management. Trellis is the most configurable platform in the industry for the complex energy delivery business, allowing users to resourcefully manage assets and perform business functions. Trellis will significantly enhance Bluestone's ability to manage all commercial activity such as contracts, nomination, scheduling, allocation, billing, and invoicing in addition to, creating business intelligence reports and providing first-class customer service.
