Drivers Go Bananas When Truck Rolls Over
A truck carrying 43,000 pounds of bananas caused a bunch of trouble when it rolled over on a Michigan roadway.
Luckily, no motorists had to peel away to avoid the crash Friday morning in Livingston County. The accident happened shortly after 6 a.m. on the ramp from northbound US-23 to westbound I-96.
No one was injured.
State police Trooper Terry Berdan tells WHMI-FM the semi driver was traveling too fast and will be ticketed for careless driving. The radio station said none of the bananas spilled onto the roadway and remained inside their containers.
