Driver Killed In I-94/Southfield Freeway Crash
ALLEN PARK (WWJ) - One person was killed in a crash Thursday morning near the I-94/Southfield Freeway interchange in Allen Park.
Police said a motorist in a minivan lost control and crashed at around 5 a.m. The accident closed southbound M-39 for about two hours.
Police aren't releasing any details about the victim. They said he was the only person in the vehicle.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Freeway ramps in that area are set to undergo construction next week.
