DPS Teacher Recruitment Fair Monday
The Detroit Public School District is hiring teachers. The district is hosting a teacher recruitment fair, starting at 10 a.m. Monday, October 18. They're looking for certified teachers in math, English, music, elementary education, social studies, bilingual and world languages and special education.
Special education teachers are needed for students who are cognitively impaired, emotionally impaired and autistic. Teachers of other subject areas are welcome to apply, according to the district.
It's at the Hotel St. Regis in Detroit -- and by appointment only for those who have signed up online.
