Domestic Dispute Leads To Deadly Shooting On Detroit's West Side
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a shooting that left a woman injured, and her son and boyfriend both dead.
Investigators say a 34-year-old woman got into an argument with her 25-year old-boyfriend at a home on Meyers Street around 9:40 p.m. Thursday. Police say at some time during the argument, the woman's 18-year-old son attempted to intervene and that's when guns were drawn.
Sgt. Eren Stephens said the woman was shot in the leg, then the two men fired shots at each other. Both men died at the scene, while the woman was taken to a local hospital. Police say she was last listed in temporary serious condition.
An investigation is ongoing.
